Barista Turns America’s Favorite Cookies Into A Beautiful Collection Of Frappuccinos

If you didn’t know how creative Starbucks baristas can get on their down time, this employee from Southern California is about to blow your mind as they brought together two of America’s guiltiest pleasures and blended them into a sugar rush of amazingess.

On a recent trip to a California Starbucks, one of the baristas told me that if I brought in some Girl Scout Cookies, some crazy Frappuccino mashups were definitely possible.

Yeah, we’re talking about those heavenly baked goods that even Leonardo DiCaprio puts his tender, loving eyes on:

So, of course, I ran to the nearest Ralphs and grabbed a bunch of boxes from an adorable little scout, went back to Starbucks and watched the magic start.

Now, we’ve seen Starbucks workers go crazy before, making up drinks such as the Apple Pie Frap, and Love Bean Frappuccino, but this is the first time we’ve seen something done with those overpriced little boxes of crack we continue to buy, year after year.

The barista used Caramel Delights, Thin Mints and Shortbread cookies as the worker played around with different concoctions, figured out what worked, and came up with these beautiful results:

Caramel Delights/Samoas Frappuccino

Staying true to the caramel essence in the Samoa cookies, the barista started this one off like a regular Caramel Frappuccino, except with a Samoa cookie blended in. There were also a couple pumps of mocha to give it a stronger chocolaty taste, topped off with carefully chopped cookie crumbs and a caramel drizzle that sensually oozed off the sides of the Grande cup.

Thin Mint Frappuccino

The Thin Mint Frap had three scoops of matcha powder giving it that classic green, minty color. Not only did this one have two Thin Mints cookies blended it, the barista added three pumps of peppermint and two scoops of java chip to further highlight the classic cookie’s flavor.

Of course, it had a mountain of Thin Mint crumbles causing a rock slide down the edge of the grande cup.

Strawberry Shortbread Frap

There’s so many ways you can remix a Shortbread cookie, but the classic strawberry flavor is always a winner. The barista used a Strawberry Creme Frappuccino as the core of this drink.

The worker blended in a couple Shorbread cookies, added three pumps of hazelnut, a scoop of strawberry inclusions, blended the whipped cream and topped it all off with Shortbread crumbles.

Hopefully Starbucks collaborates with Girl Scouts someday, so we can all enjoy wonderful drinks like these, but until then, we’ll just have to gawk at these photos and try to keep our jaws closed.
