Dominique Ansel Creates Lobster-Shaped Tribute to Friends Sitcom

Valentine’s Day frenzy is already starting, which means soon stores will be flooded with bad chocolate, red and pink M&Ms, and lots of sappy cards. It also means that some of our favorite pastry chefs are stepping up their game to stand out from the competition. Dominique Ansel, cronut-master, has wowed us  with these adorable lobster cookies, referencing a classic scene from Friends where Phoebe explains what true love means… with lobsters.

The red frosted, lobster-shaped linzer cookies arrive with a note for that special lobster in your life.  They’re available as of Friday, January 31, so you have plenty of time to snatch them up for your loved one. But make sure you know what you’re doing before you give these away.  After all, lobsters “mate for life” so no takebacks.
