Fried Chicken Ice Cream Exists And Here’s Where To Find It

It seems like anything can become a flavor of ice cream these days. All you have to do is want it enough. One of the newest flavors you can try is now…fried chicken.

Yep.

A fried chicken festival in Japan is actually serving the flavored ice cream to guests, says RocketNews24. The Karaage Festival is an annual event in Japan that honors the deep-fried poultry.

There, you can try hundreds of fried chicken recipes.

One particularly noteworthy item is called karaage soft serve. Sources say the ice cream is both sweet, salty and pretty refreshing. Good to know, cause we were worried how fried chicken would work as a dessert.

The festival will be held in Fukuoka on the southern island of Kyushu. It will begin April 2 and end April 3.
