Free Snapple Iced Tea from 7-Eleven for ‘National Iced Tea Week’

By now, you’ve probably already graduated college and started receiving those warning notices, reminding you that six months from now (assuming you’re a member of the class of 2013 and aren’t going to grad school), you’ll have to start paying back those pesky student loans. So what’s a poor unemployed millennial to do?

For starters, you could stop paying for food.

The beginning of summer is primetime for giveaways, including Snapple and 7-Eleven’s newest promotion for “National Iced Tea Week.” As a tie-in to the actual “National Iced Tea Day” on Monday June 10, 7-Eleven will be giving away one free 16 ounce bottle of Snapple Iced Tea to guests every day until Saturday June 15, while supplies last.

“If a free bottle of icy cold Snapple Iced Tea is the perfect way to celebrate National Iced Tea Day, then why not extend the fun and flavor and make it National Iced Tea Week,” Nancy Smith, 7-Eleven’s marketing vice president, said in a press release.

Just text the word ‘TEA’ to ‘711711’ to download the 7-Eleven mobile app and the Snapple Iced Tea coupon will automatically download once every day. Granted, once downloaded, each coupon is only valid for the next 15 minutes, and they’ll really only work on the Half ‘n Half, Lemon and Peach Iced Tea flavors. But hey, it’s free drinks. And you know what they say, new college grads can’t be choosers.
