First Look at World’s Largest McDonald’s to Open in London for Olympics

Last year, it was announced that the World’s Largest McDonald’s restaurant will be built in London for the Olympic Games. The title, which formerly belonged to a McDonald’s in Florida, will be handed back to our cross-country neighbors as the London store will only be open for six weeks.

In that six weeks, the chain plans to serve over 50,000 Big Macs and 180,000 french fry servings to hungry customers. There will be over 2,000 people employed for the six week period during the Olympic Games, but they definitely need to know that this isn’t a long-term gig.

Shown above are some of the architect’s renderings of what the structure will look like.
