Fight Cancer with Broccoli and Spice

Raw broccoli contains a substance called myrosinase which converts to sulforaphane, a cancer fighter, when eaten. But how many of us wants to eat raw broccoli, ehh? Steaming broccoli for more than 4 minutes greatly depreciates the amount of myrosinase, so how can we get more out of what we’re eating? Adding other vegetables that also contain myrosinase such as radishes, cabbage, arugula, watercress, or brussel sprouts will increase the myrosinase content. But try adding spicy foods such as wasabi, mustard, or horseradish. It actually creates some type of cosmic synergy that makes more sulforaphane than either does on their own. Now if this worked with Sriracha too, it might be the cure for cancer that we’re looking for.
