Family Leaves $500 Tip on an ‘F-ing Pizza’

This is what the will of recently deceased 30 year old Aaron Collins says: “. . . leave an awesome tip (and I don’t mean 25%. I mean $500 on a f***ing pizza) for a waiter or waitress.”

So on Tuesday, that’s exactly what Aaron’s family did.

Three days after Aaron’s death, the Collinses of Lexington, Ky. went out to their local Puccini’s and gifted one lucky waitress a grand total of $500 (let’s guess approximately 2500% of the bill), prompting much incredulity and teary-eyed fanning.

“[Aaron] was incredibly sentimental,” reads the “About” section on aaroncollins.org, the charity website the Collins family set up in order to raise the $500 amount, “He was generous with the limited means he had, and his last wishes were that any money be given freely in ways that would impact those who received it.”

“Things like this, given or received,” another post reads, “were what he thought left a mark on a person’s life.”

So far the family has collected over $1000 and expects to give another random gift soon. They say they will continue to do so with every batch of $500 they receive, “even if that means going out to eat multiple times a day.”

What do you guys think about this family’s random act of kindness? And, more importantly, how much more do you think they should give if they ordered some “f-ing lobster” instead?
