Dunkin' Donuts vs Starbucks

This just in from Dunkin’ Donuts! First off, just want to say sorry to Starbucks, these poor guys definitely have been getting hit alot lately (random thought… Sarah Palin in her recent cinematic debut, “Nailin’ Paylin“). It appears that independent group A&G Research, Inc., has conducted a blind taste test with 476 adults in order to settle the dispute, who has better coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts or Starbucks? Apparently the results lean towards the Dunkin’ Donuts branded coffee, as the results read:

  • Among all participants, 54.2% preferred Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, compared to 39.3% who chose Starbucks. 6.3% expressed no preference.
  • Of those participants who did have a preference, 58% favored Dunkin’ Donuts coffee, versus 42% for Starbucks.

For those interested in more on this research and expirement, Dunkin’ Donuts has established a new website and campaign to bring these results into your home, check out what’s going on at the aptly titled: www.dunkinbeatstarbucks.com

Again, Starbucks, if you wish to present a rebuttal, you know our e-mail! Until next time, good eats, good drinks, and, I guess, good donuts?
