Duck Cheesesteaks Are the Luscious, More Pretentious Philly Sandwich of Choice

Inspired by some fresh shaved duck breast at a local market, famously bearded food blogger Dan decided that Philly was no longer going to be the only locale that would dictate the ingredients in a cheesesteak sandwich.

The result? A beautifully constructed duck cheesesteak that features multiples pounds of shaved duck breast, onions, a hint of orange and gruyere.  I hope the bun is lined with foie gras, now that’d be decadent!

Sounds impeccable. Could duck be the new steak alternative? Try the recipe for yourself, and let us know what you think in the comments!
