Apparently Dr Pepper Baked Beans Are A Thing?!

BBQ pitmasters have been using Dr Pepper as a secret ingredient for ages, so it makes perfect sense for Dr Pepper’s blend of 23 flavors to end up in a can of Serious Bean Co.’s baked beans. Still, excuse me for clutching thy pearls—even if they’ve been around since 2018.

Dr Pepper is truly having its moment after the viral success of its pairing with pickles. On paper the concept sounds wretched, but Foodbeast Elie really sold us on the potential goodness of the Dr Pepper Pickle Drink.

Now, the beloved soda has found itself in a can of baked beans and I’m here for it. Who are we to ever doubt a bonafide bbq pitmaster when it comes to things that send our tastebuds to the moon?

Serious Bean Co.’s Dr Pepper Sweet & A Bit Sassy Baked Beans are now available at retailers like Walmart and Amazon.
