Can we all agree that tipping has become excessive? Domino’s agrees, and they’re introducing a fun way for you to benefit as well. When you tip your pizza delivery driver, Domino’s will reward you, too!

Starting now, Domino’s is promoting its new campaign dubbed, “You Tip, We Tip.” So how exactly does it work? Do you actually get cash back? Sort of, as it goes towards your next pizza order.

In simpler terms, when customers tip their Domino’s delivery driver $3 or more online, they’ll receive a $3 coupon for their next week’s online delivery order. The catch here is that you’ll have to order Domino’s two weeks in a row.

And why is Domino’s doing this? To reward their drivers for going above and beyond, but also to acknowledge that the pressure to tip is real even when no extra service is provided.

“Domino’s drivers have been hustling to deliver hot, delicious pizzas since 1960, and we love that customers have been tipping them for their great service since day one,” said Kate Trumbull, Domino’s senior vice president and chief brand officer.

“But these days, everywhere you go, there’s a tip screen. The pressure to tip is real, even when no extra service is provided,” Trumbull said. “So, we decided to flip the script and show our appreciation by tipping customers back.”
