Domino’s Pizza Confronts Customer About Crappy Submitted Picture

For all those familiar with Domino’s’ recent Show Us Your Pizza campaign, the pizza chain is asking its customers to be the photographers and take pictures of the pizzas that get delivered to their doorsteps. This marketing move and tactic to showcase how drastically different their pizzas have become, and how naturally appealing they look without any photography tricks has been quite a success for the brand. Of course, with so many entries, there are bound to be a few duds…and the Domino’s team set out to make Bryce’s original dismal pizza order right!

Bryce is a customer from Byron, Minnesota who submitted a picture of a Domino’s pizza that was smushed upon arrival. Shortly after hearing the ShowUsYourPizza campaign, Bryce submitted a photo and that same photo was subsequently aired in Domino’s national TV campaign. Domino’s pizza chef Sam Fauser went out to Bryce’s door in Byron, armed with a personal letter from Domino’s CEO Patrick Doyle, $500 in Domino’s gift cards, and a couple brand new pizzas.
