Disney California Adventure Features Increased Offerings of Local Brews

Did you need another reason to visit California Adventure beyond the recent opening of Cars Land and Starbucks on the new Buena Vista Street? Well, if you’re a beer lover (and frankly, who’s not?), Disney is giving you just another reason to visit, with offerings of locally crafted beer from the Anaheim Brewery. Just three miles from the happiest place on earth, recipes that date back to the late 19th century are brewed at the Anaheim Brewery and now available to guests of California Adventure.

The beer carts located around the Pacific Wharf still offer Karl Strauss, but if you visit the Alfresco Lounge in Wine Country or the Cove Bar next to the wharf — two spots that offer a full bar and appetizers — you can sit and savor the banana notes in the Anaheim Hefeweizen or kick back with an Anaheim 1888, an ode to the beginnings of the Anaheim Brewery when Friedrich Conrad began brewing on West Broad. The best way to learn history is by drinking it, right? Cheers to that!
