Disneyland And Its Food Are Getting A “Beauty And The Beast” Makeover
You’re gonna want to be Disneyland’s guest for this new experience.
In timing with the release of the live-action version of “Beauty and the Beast,” Disneyland announced that they will be converting part of the Fantasyland section of the park to match the movie’s theme. That, of course, involves bringing in some flavorsome twists to the food in that section of the park.
According to their official blog, Disneyland will be converting theĀ Pinocchio-themed “Village Haus Restaurant” into “The Red Rose Taverne,” which will feature decor telling the tale of “Beauty and the Beast” in various rooms. The quick-service food will be given an upscale French twist, and new signature beverages will also be sold. We also hear that “the grey stuff” will be sold there, and it’s delicious!
The “grey stuff,” popularized in the movie’s signature song Be Our Guest, is likely going to be a whipped cookies &Ā cream panna cotta, which is what it currently is at Disneyworld in Florida. It will also be available in Fantasyland’s food stall “Maurice’s Treats,” which sells twisted breadsticks with dipping sauces like strawberry and marinara.
While Disneyland hasn’t announced an official opening date, we’re expecting the changes to be made sometime before the live-action movie’s release on March 17.
We’re expecting the details on the official opening date soon, so stay posted here for updates on that as they come.
