Del Taco Testing New Sweet Potato Crunch Bites?

We’ve long come to terms with the big Mexican fast food chains serving up some questionably non-Mexican flavors. It’s going to take a few minutes for us to adjust our palettes and mindset to accept this latest test item from Del Taco, the new Sweet Potato Crunch Bites

This particular item was spotted in rotation at an Anaheim, CA Del Taco location (corner of Lincoln and Rio Vista) with a description that read: “Snackable Bites of Crispy Sweet Potatoes.”

A snack size (undisclosed number of pieces) will set you back $1.99, and the Regular Size (shown in the picture) will cost you $2.79. More on this item as it comes to us. No word about any system-wide rollout.

Let us know in the comments if you’ve tried these yet!
