You Can Now Upgrade ANY Del Taco Menu Item With Fresh Avocado

picthx Geoffrey Kutnick

Del Taco realized that avocados are an easy way to upgrade your food, so they teamed with Hass Avocado to finally get it on the menu.

To celebrate their new addition, they released a new Epic Grilled Chicken Avocado Burrito, which has fresh avocado slices, grilled chicken strips, handmade pico de gallo, salsa casera, fresca lime rice, and seasoned black beans.

Of course, it would have sucked to have the avocados available for only one menu item, so Del Taco is making slices available for all its menu items.

The upgrade will come at a cost, though, as one slice of avocado will be an extra 30 cents, and you can ask for up to three slices for 90 cents.

That means, if you’re a fan of their fish tacos, you can throw some avocados on them.

Hell, if you want to upgrade their cheeseburger, you can avocado bomb that as well.

It’s not quite like adding guacamole to everything, but that feels like the natural next step if people end up liking this avocado shakeup.
