Deep-Fried Mac & Cheese Burger Bun: Because Those Are Literally the Best Words Food Has to Offer

Before we start, let’s review: I think we can all agree that in most, if not all aspects of life, there are things that are just better than others. Green is better than red. Hot is better than cold. Puppies are better than kittens. These, folks, are the facts of life. Similarly, in the food world, there are some things that make food — any food — better. Bacon, Sriracha, booze, peanut butter. The list goes on and on. And all of the things on Zombie Burger‘s Walking Ched burger are on that list. Iowa is doing everything right.

Think about it: It’s already a burger, so win. A double burger, wherein two patties equals a double win. It’s also a burger with bacon and cheese (with pasta, the best kind of cheese), so that’s another point in the right direction. If that weren’t enough for you, there’s probably something wrong with you. I’ll bet you eat salads on the reg. For everyone else, the best part: Instead of the traditional sesame seed bun, this burger is topped off by two ‘buns’ of deep-fried mac and cheese. Yes, that’s right. More mac and cheese for your burger, this time deep-fried.

What else is there in life? Really, I don’t want to miss out.

NOTE: The burger also has onions and mayo and whatever, but I was sold at ‘deep-fried mac and cheese.’ So, maybe I missed that other stuff. Sincerest apologies.

H/T + PicThx that’s nerdalicious
