Dunkin’ Donuts Turned Bacon INTO Sausage And Threw It On A Sandwich, Here’s What It Looks Like
We’ve constantly been placed in the situation where the choice between bacon or sausage has to be made for breakfast. Sometimes, you simply can’t afford both. Once we pick a protein, we instantly long for the other. Long, no longer. While invited to Dunkin’ Donuts HQ, we were given a peek at one of their newest breakfast meats: Bacon Sausage.
Taking cured bacon and grinding it up with sausage meat, Dunkin’ was able to created a plump sausage that actually tasted like bacon but had the juiciness of a sausage. The coffee and donut chain is throwing it into together with eggs and cheese and calling it the Bacon Lover’s Sausage Breakfast Sandwich.

You can see the bacon pieces inside the sausage. The sandwich is served on an English Muffin with a slice of American cheese.
While still in developmental stages, the breakfast sandwich featuring Bacon Sausage will hit select locations for consumer testing on Sept. 28.
