Creator of ‘Friday’ and ‘Chinese Food’ Now Back With Awful Song About Cupcakes

Cupcake-Video

Remember when cupcakes were the biggest trending food item in the world a few years back? Yeah, that’s dead now. Patrice Wilson’s latest attempt at bringing an unknown artist into the spotlight, “Cupcakes,” has already garnered more than 400 dislikes on YouTube after only being released a little over a week.

You may remember Wilson as the producer of hit music videos as Rebecca Black’s “Friday” and Alison Gold’s “Chinese Food.” He also shows up in each of them to rap a few lyrics.

The video starts like all of his others, an unknown musician belting some cheesy lyrics that are absolutely cringeworthy. This video in particular features the sweet melodies of Gina Naomi Baez (feat. Tinkerbell the Dog), chucking cupcakes at children in a playground and one homeless man. Pretty sure that stuff gets you arrested in most places, but not a Wilson video. He does, however, get some props for making such a name for himself. Regardless of content and production quality.

Mr. Wilson, you’ve made me hate cupcakes.
