Culinary Brodown’s Cheeseburger Pudding Will Definitely Make You Drool
Anybody who’s ever tried bread pudding knows it’s one of the tastiest desserts out there. That rich custard soaking into all of the bread creates a decadent and craveable texture. While bread pudding is a fantastic dessert, you can also convert it into an epic entree. That’s exactly what we have with this cheeseburger pudding, folks—and man, is it legendary.
The idea for this gluttonous and delicious creation came from the mind of Culinary Brodown, aka Josh Scherer. Famous for creations like his ramen donut, Scherer definitely bridges the divide between deliciousness and insanity with this creation. In fact, his cheeseburger pudding recipe draws inspiration from what he lovingly calls “the stupidest thing I’ve ever made.”
Scherer told Foodbeast that originally, this dish was a 20-pound, $150 “grotesque quiche situation” made for a friend’s birthday. That version consisted of corned beef hash, Dino Nuggets, pizza rolls, SPAM, McDonald’s fries, and White Castle sliders baked into a massive quiche. Scherer kept his favorite part of the meal, the sliders, baked into the custard, and turned it into this awesome culinary creation.
