Major Burger Chain Just Added A CRICKET MILKSHAKE To Their Menu

A while back, Wayback Burgers joked about creating an Oreo mud pie milkshake made with cricket powder. Though it was only an April Fool’s gag, the chain was met with positive attention towards the fake drink. Apparently people lined up to try it.

Because of this, Wayback is actually bringing the chocolate cricket shake to life. Made with a Peruvian chocolate-flavored cricket powder, the Oreo protein milkshake will be at Wayback Burgers for a limited time.

CNBC reports that the chain has tested 20 to 30 different versions of this recipe. This includes five different cricket powders.

The shake will be available to patrons starting July 1 through September. If successful, the shake might find itself a permanent spot on the Wayback Burgers menu.
