Craving: Monkey Bread

Monkey Bread, also known as Hungarian Coffee Cake is normally treated as a sticky, gooey pleasureful item for the breakfast hours. Though the cake varies from recipe to recipe, it’s usually known for its collective pieces being made from sweet yeast dough, baked in a pan at high heat after first being covered in melted butter, cinnamon, sugar and chopped pecans. The segments of the cake are easily torn apart, probably where the origin of the term “monkey bread” can be found. (Thx ICookStuff)
