Craving: Bento Box

I think I’m just on a roll with this Japanese thing because right about now, I’m craving a bento box. A tray divided into several compartments and usually served with rice, a meat, and some sort of vegetable and pickled goodness. I usually like to get tonkatsu which is just deep fried pork cutlet. Think fried chicken but with pork only super tender and melt in your mouth. My favorite place to get this deliciousness is Mentatsu because it’s just down the street from me and it’s open late.
