Cracker Barrel’s Hashbrown Casserole Shepherd’s Pie Takes TikTok By Storm

Cracker Barrel and Shepherd’s Pie aren’t usually the first things that come to mind when thinking of the latest TikTok trends. However, this dynamic duo is going viral.

Creators @eatdrinkbemandy and @sarahmargareteats have both raved about the Hashbrown Casserole Shepherd’s Pie (see below), one of the newest items on Cracker Barrel’s new fall-inspired apple menu. 

Due to the increased attention, the item–which includes simmered pot roast in a homestyle gravy filled with carrots, peas, onions, celery and mashed potatoes, topped with a griddled hashbrown casserole crust, finished off with a dollop of sour cream–has become a hit at locations across the country.

Other new apple menu items include the Signature Fried Apple French Toast Bake, Southern Apple Cobbler, Granny Smith Apple Mimosa and Granny Smith Apple Tea.
