Costco Debuts A New Sweet & Savory Sandwich For Its Food Court

Real foodies know about the treasure trove of tasty treats at Costco’s Food Court. Following the success of its super-sized double chocolate chunk food court cookie, there’s a new menu item to drool over: the Chicken & Bacon Sandwich. 

Don’t let the basic name fool you, this is no ordinary sandwich. It’s made with sliced oven-roasted chicken breast, cheddar cheese, Dijon mayo, two tomato slices, and fresh lettuce, then slathered with sweet and savory bacon chutney. 

Bacon chutney is typically made with diced bacon and caramelized onions rendered in bacon fat and mixed with brown sugar, smoked paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. The new crave-worthy menu item costs only $6.99 and is served on a toasted ciabatta bun.
