Corona-Matic: a Typewriter Waffle Iron

What problem did designer Chris Dimino find posed in the world around him? Better yet, what should we acknowledge him for? Creating this spectacular Typewriter Waffle Iron, of course! He has taken what would normally be a useless, outdated piece of technology and breathed new life into it. Originally featured as part of a traveling exhibit on the reinvention of the typewriter (The Next Best…Ding!),  this particular re-imagining turns waffle batter into keyboard shaped waffles. Oh the cycle of technology, you never cease to amaze me. (Via coroflot/Core77)
