College Considers Ban on Energy Drinks

The supposed plans to ban energy drinks at the University of New Hampshire has created quite a stir.

The college announced earlier this year that it had plans to ban the sales of energy drinks on campus for fear of students mixing them with alcohol. However, school President Mark Huddleston issued a statement Thursday saying that there was not enough clear evidence that students were buying the Red Bulls to mix with vodka or other alcoholic beverages.

The idea of a campus-wide ban raised an outcry among the students, who believe that this will do little to impact student drinking.
