Cold Stone Creamery Bets Big on New Frozen Yogurt Menu
Determined not to be intimidated by the nationwide trend toward frozen yogurt, Cold Stone Creamery is taking this summer to roll out a slew of their own flavors. Cold Stone will be offering its most popular signature flavors in a proprietary sweet and creamy frozen yogurt.
The brand’s frozen yogurt efforts began at select locations back in January 2011, offering consumers a “premium take” on the low-fat fro-yo trend. The options start at 34 calories an ounce and are available in a special ghea freezer alongside their “super-premium” ice cream offerings, giving customers the ultimate in selection when it comes to their frozen dessert consumption.
Along with the list of the brand’s signature favorites like Cake Batter being translated into low-calorie, low-fat, probiotic frozen yogurt, Cold Stone has also introduced new flavor additions such as Pink CountryTime Lemonade and Blueberry Pomegranate.
Even more interesting than the installation of a Frozen Yogurt Menu, the brand also debuted the Cold Stone Creamery Yogurt Bar back in January, a soft-serve yogurt concept with seven current locations across the nation (Chesapeake, Va. – Virginia Beach, Va. – Scottsdale, Ariz. – Greensboro, N.C. – Charleston, N.C. – Dublin, Calif. – Orange, Calif.). The new concept serves the brand’s new soft-serve yogurt in a self-serve weigh and pay concept, along with a variety of fresh toppings — akin to shops like Yogurtland and Cherry On Top.
