Last October, a viral video mixing diet cola with pickle juice took the internet by storm, sparking over 12 million views and a flood of comments. In response, Claussen teased a product called “Just the Brine” and promised to make it real if fans showed enough love. Less than six months later, they’ve delivered with the launch of Just The Brine—just in time for St. Patrick’s Day.

Starting March 14, pickle fans can grab six-packs of this 8oz bottle of pickle brine, which can be used as a tangy cocktail mixer or a refreshing electrolyte boost the next morning. It’s the ultimate way to “pickle” by night and “unpickle” by morning.

“After seeing the overwhelming response from fans when we teased the concept last year and all
the creative ways people use our brine, we knew we had to make this product a reality,” said
Caroline Sheehey, Brand Manager Claussen.

The product will be available in New York, Chicago, and Boston, with the option to order online for fans outside of those cities. Claussen has been riding the wave of pickle-inspired products, with pickle-flavored sparkling wine and even pickle cupcakes in recent years, and Just The Brine is the latest addition to the trend.

Whether you’re mixing up cocktails for St. Patrick’s Day or need a morning pick-me-up, Just The Brine is here to jolt your pickle cravings.
