Garlic Girls Rejoice For Chipotle’s New Garlic Guajillo Steak

When I got word that Chipotle was debuting an all new Garlic Guajillo Steak, my ears perked up as well as my appetite. Off the jump, the promise of tender steak seasoned with the bold and irresistible flavors of garlic and Guajillo peppers was something that piqued my interest enough to go on the hunt for it as soon as it became available.

The sizzling soundtrack and undeniable smells of garlic cooking from Chipotle’s grill had my senses locked in. What I found was that the new Garlic Guajillo Steak was packed and crusted with a blend of Guajillo seasoning that gave the juicy steak a refined and understated kick, one that was more smoldering than palate scorching. Garlic’s savory appeal was evident in each supple bite, too. The finishing touches of cilantro and lime created a depth of flavor that sets the Garlic Guajillo Steak apart from the rest.

You can opt to have the new protein however you like, whether it’s in a hearty bowl, hefty burrito or cheesy quesadilla. Personally, the appeal of melty cheese and a crispy tortilla had me set on a Garlic Guajillo Steak quesadilla.

Chipotle’s new Garlic Guajillo Steak will be available in-restaurant, online, mobile and delivery orders in the US and Canada for a limited time.
