Chipotle Is Hooking Up Street Fighter 6 Players With New Partnership

The gaming phenomenon that is Street Fighter 6 is starting its launch with a massive food collaboration with Chipotle. The burrito icons are the official launch partner of Street Fighter 6 which even extends to the gaming communities that support the game’s release.

The household franchise has made a presence within the food scene before with a cookbook, Pocky flavors, a Capcom cafe that rotates its theme, and now a great Chipotle collaboration that actually benefits players who use the Chipotle App.

Street Fighter 6 players who use promo code “HDKN236” while ordering through the Chipotle App will be able to redeem 250 Fighter Coins; an in game currency used to purchase items for a players avatar. This only benefits players on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Sorry PC gamers!

Note that there’s only 20,000 codes available between June 2 and October 31, 2023.

Chipotle has committed to its connection to Street Fighter 6 and the Fighting Game Community (FGC) as well by partnering with community events such as Combo Breaker, Capcom Pro Tour and EVO. Players at Combo Breaker (a Chicago-based fighting game tournament) that made it out of their pool (an open bracket) received free burrito cards, and the highest placing Street Fighter V player who won that tournament received free Chipotle for a year.

“This partnership will provide Chipotle with an unparalleled opportunity to connect with the passionate and dedicated fighting game community and to create innovative activations in-game and in-real-life within Street Fighter 6, Chipotle Challenger Series, Evo, Capcom Pro Tour and COMBO BREAKER throughout 2023,” said Jason Scorrano, Head of Partnerships for RTS. “This innovative partnership will shape the future of the fighting game community and how brands connect with it in meaningful ways.”

The fighting game’s sixth mainline entry in the franchise (there’s actually over 80 if you count the crossover titles and skus) is kicking off with a big collab with Chipotle to commemorate its big launch.
