Chipotle Is Now Testing Frozen Palomas As A New Alcohol Option
Chipotle has a new beverage in the works at their test kitchen, and the frozen palomas they’re cranking out of there are perfect for the warm summer months.

The Frozen Paloma Margarita is Chipotle’s take on the popular Mexican cocktail, according to the Daily Meal. A traditional paloma consists of tequila and grapefruit-flavored soda served on the rocks with a wedge of lime. Chipotle’s version holds close to that recipe, utilizing Sauza tequila, lime juice, agave, and grapefruit juice that all get blended together into a slushy.
What’s tight about this new fast food cocktail is that it doesn’t come at a steep price. A 14-ounce cup of the Frozen Paloma Margarita costs $6.20 (which, by New York standards, is quite the bargain).
There’s no telling exactly if or when this drink will ever make it to the official nationwide menu. However, Chipotle still has margaritas on the menu for those looking to get a boozy fix with their custom burritos.
