We’re all familiar with the term “showstopper,” which applies to something that’s breathtaking and puts everything on pause. Well, when it comes to incredible food that I see on social media, there’s a more appropriate word that applies to something that takes hold of my attention by the throat, and that word is “scrollstopper.” Why? Because we’ve all been there, browsing through social media until we see food that suddenly stops our mindless scrolling ASAP.
One such scrollstopper is the above breakfast sandwich from Comfortland out in Astoria, New York. As we see from the footage captured by @newyorknico, this breakfast sandwich was built to bully your morning appetite. Dubbed the Chicken Biscuit Buddy, this aggressive “good morning” to your palate is exactly how I want to start my day.
The kind gentleman in the video introducing the masses to this breakfast wonder has deemed it “the new breakfast sandwich for New York.” So is the iconic bacon, egg and cheese scooting over for the Chicken Biscuit Buddy? It may have to, just by intimidation factor alone.
