Chick-Fil-A Is Quietly Testing Spicy Strips And Fans Are Losing Their Minds

While several fast food restaurants scramble to make stunt food like Mac N’ Cheetos, or “Potacos,” Chick-Fil-A can make very minimal changes and still get its fans excited.

Case in point, the Spicy Chick-N-Strips they’re currently testing in Philadelphia and several regions in Texas. Phoenix will be added as a test city August 25, so it’s slowly expanding.

Spicy strips are one of those things that makes you wonder how they weren’t already on the nationwide menu, but they aren’t, and certainly should be.

The 3rd largest fast food chain in the U.S. has always kept its menu fairly simple, and these new strips fall in line with that simplicity.

According to Chick-Fil-A, these strips will use the same spicy blend as their spicy chicken sandwich, so it will be very familiar to customers.

The strips are being sold in three and four-count entrees, and will rely on these test cities to see if it’s worth a larger launch.

Of course, fans of the chicken sandwich restaurant are already on board with the strips, and are praying for a permanent release:

It’s pretty evident that Chick-Fil-A fans are pretty riled up over the idea of spicy strips. I don’t see anyone being opposed to them being a permanent menu item.

Hopefully we see them soon, but Chick-Fil-A has broken our spicy hearts before, nixing their spicy nugget tests, and taking the spicy chicken biscuit off the menu.

Here’s hoping for some spicy redemption from the inventors of the chicken sandwich.
