Cherkees — Beef Jerky Potato Chips

Here’s the elevator pitch, beef jerky meets potato chips. Cherkees are beef jerky flavor without the chew, potato crisps with real bits of beef in them, keeping the look and flavor of beef jerky but with the crunch of a potato chip. The brand stresses that these are not beef jerky flavored potato chips, but in fact beef jerky and potato chips in one complete bite.

Much like traditional jerky, Cherkees are low-fat, high-protein, and are not fried. They have less than a third the fat of traditional potato chips and 12 grams of protein per serving. The new chips come in several jump-off flavors including: Hot Pepper, Teriyaki, Cracked Pepper and Smokehouse. ($4.99 – $9.99 @ RowanLane)
