Frito-Lay Testing CHEETOS POPCORN For Movie Theaters

When you’re at a movie theater you obviously see popcorn and sometimes even bags of Cheetos, but until now, we’ve never seen a combination of the two.

It looks like Frito-Lay is quietly trying to make this happen as Buzzfeed’s Adam B Vary caught a glimpse of some Cheetos Popcorn. Vary was covering a Fantastic Four media event at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, and snapped some pics of this mysterious Cheetos Popcorn stand.

As you can see in this 10 News photo, Chester Cheetah himself was there, trying to slang his popcorn like a drug dealer on Breaking Bad:

Unfortunately, Frito-Lay’s Alexia Allina shot down all our hopes and dreams of seeing this sooner than later when she told Cinema Blend:

“As a company, we’re always innovating and testing new product concepts to see what resonates best with our consumers. Cheetos Popcorn is still in the very early development stages.”

She also said that they’d release more details when it’s ready for the market, which is good, cause it’d be weird if they released a new product and didn’t give details.

Until then, we’ll just have to sneak in Cheetos Puffcorn into movie theaters.
