This Is The Only Way You’ll Ever Want To Drink Champagne

Beer bongs have been a quintessential part of the college experience for as long as anybody can remember. Hell, even the party people in Dazed and Confused were hitting the beer bong before Matthew McConaughey could squeeze out even one “alright.” Millenials, however, are always looking for ways to bring old things back and make them better, or in this case, classier. Enter the Chambong.

This device resembles a champagne glass on top, but bends it’s hollow stem at a 90˚ angle at the base. This design creates a sort of vortex that allows users to drink the champagne quickly while leaving a large majority of the bubbles behind. It’s slightly similar to das boot from the cult fraternity film, Beerfest.

The Chambong was created in 2014, a few days before the Super Bowl. In preparation for the popular sporting event, several friends attempted to create a smoking device big enough to hold a “Super bowl.” It turns out that while their aspirations were sky high (pun intended), their execution was a little more grounded. They were unable to create their super bowl, and left their creation to become dust in the wind—or so they thought.

A few days later, some friends of theirs remarked at the device’s other possible uses, namely it’s potential to be used as a wine “shooter.” After careful examination and a lot of testing, the Chambong was born!

You’ve shotgunned beers, you’ve played beer pong, you’ve even hit a beer bong. Now it’s time to start chugging champagne, like an adult.
