Carl’s Jr. Flirting With All-Day Breakfast, Starting With Its Breakfast Burger
The fast food breakfast wars continue, and Carl’s Jr. is dipping its toes into the “all-day breakfast” concept.
The restaurant announced Monday that its Breakfast Burger will now be available all day, at all its restaurants. according to QSR Magazine.
The Carl’s Jr. Breakfast Burger consists of bacon, eggs, hash brown rounds, a charbroiled beef patty, American cheese and ketchup. When the burger debuted 13 years ago, it was the first quick service burger to be topped with egg.
Carl’s already offers its burgers all day, but this is the first step to doing the same with their breakfast items.
Jack In The Box has offered its breakfast all day for more than 20 years, and McDonald’s followed suit in last year, finally offering most of its breakfast menu all day.
A welcoming trend in the fast food industry, as there should never be a cutoff time for bacon and eggs, so we’ll see if this leads to more menu items being served all day at Carl’s Jr.
