Burger King Now Offering Burgers for Breakfast

Throwing up a huge middle finger to the recent fast food breakfast trend, Burger King has decided to skip the waffle Whoppers entirely and just offer their regular burgers earlier in the day, as part of a new Burgers at Breakfast promotion.

Lazy, you say? How about GENIUS?

(Okay, maybe it is just lazy.)

Burger Business reports the promotion will allow customers to order Whoppers, Double Whoppers, Whopper Jr.’s, cheeseburgers, double cheeseburgers, Bacon Double Cheeseburgers, Original Chicken Sandwiches, Big Kings, and french fries between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m., in addition to their regular “Crossan’wich”-es, biscuits, burritos, and french toast sticks.

While it hasn’t yet received a national release, 5,000 franchises have supposedly opted into the program, clearly thinking, for some reason, that eating lunch at an hour many people don’t even like being awake is something customers would actually want.

Eh, at least it’s better than a waffle Whopper.
