Burger King is Testing Delivery in the United States

By January 23, select Burger King locations in Maryland and Virginia will be delivering burgers, fries and chicken tenders straight to your doorstep. The BK Lounge reminds folks that it has been doing delivery for years in locations such as Mexico, Turkey, Brazil, Columbia and Peru…it’s now time to do some testing in the States.

For the duration of the U.S. test, guests can order online through www.bkdelivers.com or by phone. The participating locations will deliver to a physical address within a 10-minute drive. The fees included are a $2 charge for delivery as well as maintaining a minimum order of $8 to $10, depending on the location.

The delivery menu looks like their normal menu, although it doesn’t include fountain drinks, ICEEs, shakes, coffee or breakfast items.

According to NRN, McDonald’s offers delivery in Manhattan, but if Burger King decides to roll delivery services nationwide, they’d become the first national quick-service burger brand to do so.
