Cupcakes are one of the most popular food items we have the pleasure of writing about. Something about their cute tiny nature, their endless possibilities, and the warm fuzziness that takes over your soul when you bite into one that has a special place in everyone’s heart.

Why is it we love them so much? Well, we don’t have that answer just yet, but we’re getting close.

Thanks to the minds over at Small Batch Creative, we now have a visual infographic that sheds some overly simplified light on the components of a cupcake.
