Bojangles Looks To Expand West To Los Angeles

Bojangles, a southern fast food chain famously known for its Cajun-seasoned fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits, plans to open 30 new locations in the Los Angeles area.

Marking the chain’s first entry into the state of California and on the west coast, Bojangles will be winning LA over with its southern charm as early as 2025.

In a sea of fast food fried chicken giants like Chick-fil-A, Popeyes, Church’s, KFC, and Jollibee, you might be wondering, what sets Bojangles apart? Well for starters, they’re serving up a whole tub of pimento cheese! Because who can resist that extra cheesy goodness?

But it’s beyond just the pimento cheese tubs; Bojangles has a whole lineup of signature offerings like bone-in fried chicken, scratch-made savory and sweet biscuits, crispy fried chicken sandwiches, and fried chicken tenders.

The company launched its inaugural restaurant in Charlotte in 1977. Having expanded to over 800 locations across 17 states, the chain is now poised to expand into the Western U.S. for the first time.
