Shards Of Glass Cause Major Bimbo, Sara Lee and Nature’s Harvest Bread Recall

Bimbo Bakeries USA just voluntarily recalled a batch of its bread products for possible shards of glass from a lightbulb that burst in one of their factories.

Bimbo Bakeries makes breads for the Sara Lee, Kroger, Bimbo, Nature’s Harvest, Great Value and L’Oven Fresh brands, and is urging customers in certain states to return bread with the “best buy” dates of August 31 and September 1.

The reason for the recall is three separate customer calls about glass being found outside of the bread.

Bimbo said all of the products with those dates have now been taken off shelves and no other breads should have any problems.
