Beyond Meat Debuts Plant-Based Beyond Steak
Beyond Meat has announced its latest innovation in plant-based meats: Beyond Steak. The new product adds to Beyond Meat’s robust product lineup and gives vegans and flexitarians another alternative meat option to enjoy.
Touting its health benefits, Beyond Steak is said to have 21 grams or protein per serving while giving consumers the tender consistency and savory flavor that’s like real steak. Beyond Meat also claims that Beyond Steak is low in saturated fat, has 0mg of cholesterol and has o added antibiotics or hormones.
“Beyond Steak is a highly-anticipated expansion of our popular beef platform and we’re proud to introduce this innovative product to consumers nationwide,” said Dariush Ajami, Chief Innovation Officer, Beyond Meat. “Beyond Steak delivers the taste and texture of sliced steak in a way that is better for both people and the planet.”
Beyond Steak will be available at Kroger and Walmart stores nationwide, as well as at select Albertsons and Ahold divisions and other retailers across the country.
