Baskin-Robbins’ Ice Cream Turkey Takes The Cake

BASKIN-ROBBINS-TURKEY-CAKES

There’s nothing more traditional than a Thanksgiving Turkey Cake. Luckily, Baskin-Robbins is bringing them back “by popular demand” and promises that these pseudo-birds are sure to “add a ‘wow factor’ as the centerpiece.” Ice cream cakes disguised as turkeys? Sacré bleu! Each one serves up to 12 people and goes for a suggested retail price of $32.99. For those looking for just a taste of this novelty, Baskin-Robbins also offers individual Turkey Legs made of sugar cones sold in pairs at a suggested retail price of $7.99.

Granted, there are few things more alarming than biting into what you first think is delicious, juicy turkey meat and instead getting a major dose of brain freeze. Topped with a sweet caramel glaze and your choice of ice cream flavor, we suppose there are worse things than having your turkey switched out for a delicious dessert. I mean, what if someone replaced your fancy bird with a replica made of Marmite? Gross out. We’ll take the cake.
