Balsamic Sweet Onion Jam

If you’re looking to spice up your jam game, then this sweet onion jam prepared by the family-owned Braswell’s food company may be up your alley. This Balsamic Sweet Onion Jam is prepared in small batches out of Georgia’s Vidalia onion country, utilizing the flavors of balsamic vinegar and dark brown sugar.
The balsamic vinegar used is from Modena, Italy and the dark brown pure cane sugar and Vidalia sweet onions from Toombs County, Georgia. Works well as an appetizer beside some cheese and crackers, as a top for cream cheese, or as a unique glaze for grilled poultry, pork and seafood. Packaged in a reusable 11 oz. glass tumbler advertised to double for serving juice.
The ingredients include cane sugar, onion, balsamic vinegar, dark brown sugar, citric acid, pectin, salt, dehydrated garlic and onions and pepper. ($9 @ Williams-Sonoma)
