Adventure: Off The Waffle

If you guys are as crazy as I am about breakfast and actually take the old saying, “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” to heart, then check out one of the best waffle joints I have ever laid my tongue on.

Last week I went on a road trip to Eugene, Oregon to help one of my friends move back down to So Cal. Besides multiple run-ins with the law and a nearly twenty-hour drive, we of course, put aside enough time to get our Foodbeast on! Off The Waffle is the place to go in Eugene if you want your breakfast dreams fulfilled. Honestly, how could you go wrong with a waitress like this?

The scenery in the restaurant gives off a laid back kinda feel. You want your own coffee and water? Pour it yourself!

Check out the food these guys produce! If you think the pictures look bomb, just imagine the taste! I had to go big, because I was about to go home and order the “The Self-Fulfilling Prophecy”.  It started off with one of their unique “Leige Waffle” which has Belgian pearled sugar baked into itself that caramelizes when cooked and leaves the waffles glistening and mouthwatering! It is then piled with one sunny side up egg, bacon and drizzled with maple syrup!

The next waffle we took down was the “BMB”! Which is short for bacon, maple syrup, and the killer, basil Havarti cheese!

After we decided that our first round of waffles didn’t suffice our hunger, we decided to order some of their original “Leige Waffle” for our long trip home!
