Every Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant Winner Since 1997
In the wake of the recent news regarding Hooters executives leaving the company to fund up-start rival restaurant Twin Peaks, we decided we’d cut the restaurant a break and observe one of its strongest assets, its annual Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant. Every year sees the 430+ location restaurant chain hold a pageant to select an official spokesperson and personality for the Hooters brand.
The winning beauty always competes for a crown and prizes, along with being featured on Hooters national TV commercials, billboards, Hooters Magazine, Hooters Calendar and to be the face of the brand for year’s duration. The pageant’s first winner back in 1997, Paula Cobb, took home a mere $2500 cash prize. Compare this to 2010’s winner, LeAngela Davis, who took home $50,000 in addition to being crowned live on Spike TV.
Without further ado, we present a historical look back at every winner of the Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant since its inception, in 1997:
