Transform Regular Cinnamon Rolls In These 7 Unique Ways

Cinnamon rolls. The best thing to come in a tube since…pretty much any other food that comes in a tube. In a few simple steps you can have warm, doughy cinnamon rolls to gorge yourself on, and that’s all well and good. Or, if you’re bored of your everyday cinnamon roll, you can make something so creative, it will make regular cinnamon rolls look like they’re not even trying. Try thinking outside the tube with these 9 unbelievably fun ways to enjoy cinnamon rolls.

Cinnamon Roll Cheesecake

Take an already rich cinnamon bun and turn it into the richest dessert known to man: cheesecake. Layers of thick cream cheese and cinnamon swirl topped off with some sugary cinnamon roll frosting will blow your mind. Be warned, though, this is not an easy dessert to make. Cinnamon bun amateurs need not apply.

While this is easier with your own cinnamon batter (as in the above recipe), you can use the premade stuff as well. Simply bunch together the rolls and flatten into a single sheet for the bottom. Add your cheesecake filling, and sprinkle the top with more cinnamon roll pieces before baking.

Cover with cinnamon-infused, beaten eggs and bake. And if you’re not topping this French toast with pecans and an entire bottle of syrup, you’re doing it wrong.

This hack works for any pie, but let’s face it, it was meant for apple pie. And who are we to deny fate?
