2-D Angry Birds Cupcakes

In the past couple months, the explosive growth of the Angry Birds smartphone game has churned an impeccable, rabid fan following into a living, breathing, artsy community ready to brand their everyday eats to the tune of their favorite bird-weapon-characters. While this 2-D Angry Birds Cupcake dessert was put together almost a year ago, for some reason it hadn’t crossed our news desk until today.

Created by Pog who has professed that the baking project was simply a “fun project,” continuing that “I am in no way skilled at cake decorating.” All that aside, the end result is extremely charming, and the frosting colors are pretty appropriate!

For the haters out there hoping each Angry Birds food creation is the last they have to see, we hope the creatives keep pushing forward! For without them, we’d never have seen Angry Birds Coffee Art, Angry Birds Burgers, the Playable Angry Birds Birthday Cake, Angry Birds Bento Box or these Edible Angry Birds Cake Toppers.
